Catering for a diverse student population

Keeping up with the demands of a diverse student population is a constant challenge for university catering managers. We constantly update and extend our range to cater for all diets, including halal, vegan and gluten free.

Every year the Raynors team visit Freshers’ Fairs around the country.  This means we can keep on top of how students’ tastes are changing. We also find out what other issues that are important to them, such as environmental standards, or ethical sourcing and production.

Growing demand for vegan sandwiches & snacks

We’ve seen a growing demand for vegan snacks and sandwiches. Vegan students want more than just falafel or salad. Our Italian vegetable sandwich was a favourite with the students who sampled it, beating even our Award winning Curried Chickpea and Carrot Sandwich. We also cater for other diets for which there is growing demand, such as gluten free.

Catering for 24 hour a day student life

As well as our ready made, pre packaged sandwiches, wraps, paninis, filled baguettes and rolls, Raynor Foods supply sandwiches uncut in cater packs so you can cut and serve on site. We also supply an extensive range of breakfast options, ready to heat snacks, salads, sushi, healthy snack pots and breakfast and lunch bags so you will be able to cater for students right through the day and night.
